Amy Lavine

Amy Lavine (she/her) joins GLAAD with a background as a grant writer and foundation relations professional for 20 years. Amy has primarily worked for LGBTQ organizations during that time, including at the LGBT Community Center in New York City and at the National LGBTQ Task Force. Understanding the broad progressive movement is a critical goal in achieving equality in all arenas and asserting the importance of intersectional voices in all public policy discourses. Amy values foundation relations as a means to securing support for progressive programs, with an emphasis on LGBTQ people and issues.
