Barbara Simon

Barbara Simon is the Senior Director of News at GLAAD. Barbara has over 20 years of experience in the news industry, working as a producer for The Dr. Oz Show, CBS News, and CNN/truTV/Turner Broadcasting. Barbara was also the Supervising Producer for NBC's Today Show and a writer for ABC News and NBC Nightly News. In their current role at GLAAD, they are responsible for amplifying the voices of LGBTQ people and their allies to drive culture-changing work.

Barbara Simon attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
