Gillian Bruton

Gillian qualified with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Glasgow University and completed her Chartered Accounting qualification with PWC in Glasgow. She then spent three years working as an International Internal Auditor with Thorn EMI, based near London. In 1998 Gillian joined Polaroid , where she held various finance roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as group Finance Director from 2007 to 2013 for the Polaroid Eyewear division, which manufactured and sold Polaroid Eyewear branded sunglasses globally. In May 2013 she was appointed as Finance Director for Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd the group which owns and operates 11 airports around Scotland, including Inverness and Sum burgh airports. This was a joint appointment with Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd. Gillian joined the AGS Executive in November 2020.
