David Harris

David Harris is an accomplished professional in sustainable finance, currently serving as the Head of Sustainable Finance Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships at LSEG since March 2012. Harris has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Global Head of Sustainable Finance Strategy and Global Head of Sustainable Finance, Data & Analytics, while also being a member of the Group Sustainability Committee. In addition to these roles, Harris is actively involved in various organizations, such as the UK Sustainability Disclosure Technical Advisory Committee and HM Treasury, contributing expertise to the transition finance market. Notable past positions include Head of Sustainable Investment at FTSE Russell and membership in the European Commission's High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance. Academic qualifications include an MSc with Distinction in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BA Hons 1st Class in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
