Paul Gerard

Paul Gerard has worked in the software engineering industry since 1994. Paul began their career at SELEX Communications Ltd, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 1994-2002. During this time, they wrote use cases, developed object-oriented design techniques, and generated C++ code. In 2002, they moved to SELEX Comms, where they worked as a Software Engineer and co-ordinated a small team to design, develop, test, and deliver a STANAG 5066 HF communications protocol stack. Paul then moved to Antics Technologies in 2008, where they worked as a Software Production Manager, managing a software development and QA team of 10. Later in 2008, they worked as a Software Consultant at Selex Communications, where they implemented tool and library upgrades for a legacy communications product. In 2009, they joined Jagex as a Web Technologies Manager and QA Manager Web Systems. Finally, in 2012, they joined Glasswall as an Associate Cloud Architect, working on bringing Glasswall zero day protection to the Cloud. Paul later became the Integration Team Lead, leading a small team responsible for supporting demonstrations and proof of concepts.

Paul Gerard attended Anglia Polytechnic University from 1990 to 1993 and obtained a BSc HONS degree in Combined Technologies.
