Dana Laack has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Dana has held various leadership roles in the field of compliance and ethics, as well as human resources.

Starting from their most recent position, Dana is currently working as the Director Compliance - Legal at Glaukos Corporation from November 2022 onwards. Prior to that, they served as the Director Healthcare Compliance at Amgen from January 2020 to November 2022. In this role, they led the design, development, and implementation of a risk assessment and audit program while serving as a trusted internal consultant on corporate ethics and compliance matters.

Before joining Amgen, Dana worked at Walmart for several years. Further back in their career, Dana worked at Eli Lilly from August 2005 to September 2010. Here, they held the position of Global Ethics & Compliance Operations Consultant, leading a team to globalize internal risk assessment and monitoring processes. Dana also served as a Human Resources Consultant from October 2000 to August 2005, implementing HR policies and programs and managing employee relations and development.

Dana's earlier career experiences include working as the Director of Human Resources at Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates from September 1998 to October 2000, as well as holding various HR positions at Robinsons-May, Tejon Ranch, Amway, and JACO Oil Company.

Throughout their career, Dana has demonstrated a strong focus on ethics, compliance, risk assessment, and audit. Dana has extensive experience leading teams, consulting with leadership, and implementing effective policies and procedures across various organizations.

Dana Laack has a diverse education history. In 1989, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Grand Valley State University. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from Berrien Springs High School in 1989. In 1996, Dana attended California State University, Bakersfield, where they studied Operational Management, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree in this field. Dana then pursued further education in 1999 at Queens University of Charlotte, specializing in Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). In 2003, Dana attended Ball State University - Miller College of Business to study Human Resources and obtained the SPHR certification. In 2009, they attended the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics Institute and completed the Corporate Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) program. Additionally, Dana has earned two certifications outside of their formal education. In 2020, they obtained the OpsAudit Basics certification from AuditBoard, and in 2021, they acquired the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
