Benedetta Romi

Benedetta Romi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality control and analytical science within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Quality Control at GSK since March 2015, Benedetta manages a team of 220 employees, drives departmental initiatives, and ensures compliance with CGMPs and regulatory standards for drug substances and products. Previous roles include External Supply Supplier Relationship Senior Manager and various leadership positions at Novartis, where Benedetta honed expertise in regulatory compliance, analytical method development, and immunology research. Benedetta holds a PhD in Immunology from Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics and a first degree in organic chemistry.
