Nyssa Parmenter

Nyssa Parmenter currently serves as the KYC QC Manager at MVB Bank since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in financial compliance and risk management. Nyssa has been a Notary Public for the State of Maine since January 2015, involved in verifying legal documentation and officiating wedding ceremonies. Prior to MVB Bank, Nyssa was the Onboarding Due Diligence Supervisor at Silvergate Bank, overseeing the Customer Onboarding teams and conducting in-depth reviews of deposit account requests for high-risk clients. Additionally, Nyssa worked as a Manager in Financial Crimes Risk Management at Genpact, leading training initiatives in Financial Crime Compliance. Nyssa also held the position of Senior Bank Secrecy Act - Anti Money Laundering at Guild Mortgage, where responsibilities included managing BSA/AML programs and investigating suspicious transactions.
