Madhu Ramaswamy is an accomplished professional in the field of oncology and immunology with extensive experience in translational research and precision medicine. Currently serving as Director of Translational Research in Oncology and Director of Oncology Biomarkers/Precision Medicine Development at GSK since January 2023, Ramaswamy previously held significant roles at AstraZeneca, including Translational Lead for Precision Medicine in Immunology and Scientist in Cellular Therapy and Immuno-Oncology from February 2019 to January 2023. Prior experience includes positions at MedImmune, where Ramaswamy worked as a Scientist in Immuno-Oncology and Autoimmunity/Inflammation from June 2014 to January 2019, and a tenure at the National Institutes of Health as a Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Fellow between May 2005 and June 2014. Ramaswamy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology/Microbiology from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master’s Degree in Medical Microbiology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
