Guilherme Cano Lopes

Guilherme Cano Lopes has been working in the field of data science since 2015. Guilherme began their career as an Engineering Intern at Citisystems in 2015. In 2017, they were awarded a Masters Project Scholarship at Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa - Unicamp. From 2018 to 2021, they held various roles at Itaú Unibanco, including Data Scientist, Data Scientist II, and Itaú Analytics Training Program. Guilherme currently works as a Data Scientist at Glean.

Guilherme Cano Lopes obtained their Mechatronics Technician degree from Etec Getúlio Vargas in 2009-2010. Guilherme then attended Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho from 2011-2016, where they earned a Control and Automation Engineering degree. From 2016-2018, they attended Universidade Estadual de Campinas and earned a Masters in Computer Science with a focus on Robotics and Deep Reinforcement Learning. In 2018-2019, they completed a Specialization in Data Science from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA. Guilherme is currently pursuing a PhD. in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, with a focus on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. In 2019, they also obtained a Big Data Ecosystem certification from FIAP.
