Patrick Hawks

Patrick Hawks has extensive work experience in the field of research and development in various textile companies. Patrick is currently working at Glen Raven as the Director of R&D since May 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Manager of R&D at Glen Raven starting from May 2019 until their promotion.

Before joining Glen Raven, Patrick worked at Highland Industries, Inc. as the Senior Manager of R&D from April 2012 to May 2019. Prior to that, they were employed at Crypton, Inc. as a Senior Chemist from April 2010 to April 2012.

Patrick also held the position of Director of Product Development at Interface Fabrics / True Textiles from January 2005 to March 2010. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product Development at Collins & Aikman from 1996 to 2004.

Their career in the textile industry began at Springs Industries, where they worked as a Textile Chemist in chemical manufacturing from 1986 to 1996.

Patrick Hawks has a Bachelor's degree in Textile Chemistry with a concentration in Polymer from North Carolina State University. Patrick also holds a Master's degree in Textiles/Textile Chemistry from the same university.
