Karl McGarry

Karl McGarry has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and design. Karl currently holds the position of Design Manager - Net Zero and Sustainability at Glenveagh Properties plc since 2023. Prior to their current role, they worked at COADY Architects from 2015 to 2022. During their time at COADY Architects, Karl held the positions of BIM Coordinator and Architectural Technologist from 2017 to 2022, as well as Architectural Technologist from 2015 to 2022.

Karl McGarry began their education at Ringsend Technical Institute from 2006 to 2011. However, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during that time. Afterwards, they attended Technological University Dublin from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Architectural Technology/Technician. Following this, from 2019 to 2020, Karl pursued a Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Building Performance (Energy Efficiency in Design) at Technological University Dublin. Subsequently, they continued their studies at the same institution from 2020 to 2021, completing a Postgraduate Diploma (PG Diploma) in the same field of study. Finally, in 2022, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Building Performance (Energy Efficiency in Design) at Technological University Dublin.
