Andrew Ficken

Andrew Ficken has a diverse work experience in the technology and engineering sectors. Andrew began their career as an Engineering Technician at Innovative Micro Technology in June 2020, where they oversaw QA operations and produced semiconductors for various applications. Andrew also contributed to process refinement, resulting in cost reductions.

In July 2021, Andrew joined Compass as a Product Operations Associate. During their tenure, they developed and taught data processing guidelines to a team of six associates. Andrew also worked on collating user feedback and communicating the business impact of user stories to stakeholders.

At Compass, Andrew progressed to the role of Technical Product Operations Lead in March 2022. In this position, they utilized Python to automate processes, leading to a cost reduction of over 40%. Andrew collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop project roadmaps and successfully led a team of nine to launch a productivity platform nationwide.

Andrew Ficken attended UC Santa Barbara from 2016 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics.
