Benjamin Stephens

Benjamin Stephens has held a variety of roles in the financial services industry. In 2007, they began their career at Merrill Lynch as an Electronic Trader. In 2008, they became a Member of the Board of Trustees for the British Exploring Society. In 2010, they joined Nomura as the European Head of Quantitative Prime Brokerage. In 2013, they moved to Instinet Incorporated, where they served as Global Head of Product Management. Benjamin was responsible for product innovation and strategy, as well as European Business Development and regulatory oversight of Instinet's regional trading venue BlockMatch. In 2018, they became a Non-Executive Director at Globacap, and they are currently serving as Managing Director at both Nomura and Laser Digital.

Benjamin Stephens obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the London Business School between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Oxford's Christ Church College from 1998 to 2000. Benjamin also holds a certification from the Financial Conduct Authority, obtained in February of 2020, for SMF18 Other Overall Responsibility.
