Tayla Cary

Tayla Cary has held a variety of roles in their professional career. In 2018, they were part of the EY Business Education Programme. In 2019, they were a Community Manager at Cape Vue Country House, creating content for the guesthouse and running their social media pages. In 2020, they were an Intern at Solar Capital (Pty) Ltd, responsible for development, implementation execution and reporting of economic development proposals. Tayla was also a Sales Executive at Invictus Capital, working closely to launch and onboard clients into a new product, and a Business Development Associate writing articles for Invictus Capital. In 2021, they were VP of Business & Product Development at FiveWest, a Fintech company in South Africa specialising in the power of blockchain. Most recently, they have been a Product Manager at Globacap since 2022.

Tayla Cary's education history includes a Master's degree in Financial Management, Digital Banking and Internet Finance from GBSB Global Business School, obtained in 2021. Tayla also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University, obtained in 2018. Before that, they obtained their Matric from Reddam House Constantia. Additionally, they hold four certifications, including Product Management: Building a Product Strategy, Scrum: The Basics, and Technical Product Management from LinkedIn, obtained in 2022, as well as a Skippers License Category E Vessel from the South African Maritime Safety Authority, obtained in 2012.
