Grace Thuo

Grace Thuo is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Head of Communications at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) since December 2020. In this role, Grace leads the communications strategy for a global nutrition organization, effectively building teams and systems that engage diverse audiences. Prior to GAIN, Grace held the position of Communications Lead for the Lighting Africa program at the International Finance Corporation, developing strategies to enhance understanding of renewable energy's impact in underserved communities. Earlier experience includes a progressive role at the Africa Network for Animal Welfare, where Grace managed communications transformation and contributed to the organization's UNEP accreditation. Additionally, Grace has worked as a freelance writer and as a travel writer for East Africa Magazines. Grace holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Daystar University and a BA in Journalism with a minor in international relations from the United States International University - Africa.
