Raymond van Ermen

Raymond Van Ermen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental leadership. Currently serving as an Ambassador for the Global Blockchain Business Council since January 2023, Raymond has held various significant positions, including Vice-Chairman of the Comité de Prospective at Comité 21 from March 2017 to January 2020, and Treasurer for the European Water Partnership from 2008 to June 2018. Raymond's expertise includes serving as a Gold Medal Jury Member for the World Environment Center from September 2001 to September 2016, as well as Chairman of the Experts Committee at Comité 21 France from October 2013 to June 2016. Additionally, Raymond was the Executive Director of European Partners for the Environment from January 1998 to June 2015 and a member of the SRI International Advisory Committee at BNP Paribas Asset Management from June 2006 to September 2011. Previously, Raymond held the role of Secretary General at the European Environmental Bureau from 1989 to 1997. Educational background includes studies at Université catholique de Louvain and Collège Saint Boniface.
