Monica Greco

Monica Greco is an accomplished professional currently serving as Chief of Staff at Global Carbon Market Utility since April 2024, and as an Advisor at the Initiative for Digital Public Interest since January 2022. Greco has extensive experience at Open Society Foundations, where roles included Senior Program Officer and Program Officer from December 2017 to April 2024. Additionally, Greco held a Visiting Fellow position at Princeton University’s Center for Information Technology Policy and served as Treasurer and Operations Director for Collateral Repair Project from October 2013 to June 2021. Previous positions include Chief Operating Officer at Alight Fund and Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates. Greco began their career as a Research Fellow with the Fulbright Association. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Classics and Public and International Affairs from Princeton University (2009-2013) and a Master of Science in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford (2015-2016).
