Amit Sarawagi (CA,MBA)

Amit Sarawagi is an experienced professional with a diverse career in various industries. Amit is the founder of TrueLedger Tech Private Limited, a company that provides consulting and education services in the financial, accounting, and Environmental, Social and Governance sector. Amit is also the founder of ESG & Sustainability Think Tank, which is a platform for researchers, policy makers, educators, and consultants to share ideas. Amit is a member of the Advisory Council at Harvard Business Review, where they contribute their expertise. As an Entrepreneurial Mindset Coach at ICQ Global, Amit leverages their access to global research and tools to coach executives and entrepreneurs, helping them grow their companies. Amit is also a member of the Global Chamber of Business Leaders, focusing on international business development. Previously, Amit served as the Country Director at Leaders Without Borders Development Centre and worked as an Entrepreneurship Guest Lecturer at E-Cell, IIT Bombay. Amit has also been a Startup Mentor for Startup India, DPIIT, Govt of India, offering guidance in various areas including consulting, government, and education technology. Amit has prior experience as a business idea mentor at E-Cell IIT Madras. Amit began their career at PwC, working as a Manager in the Statutory audit division and contributing to business development efforts. Amit holds a CA and an MBA.

Amit Sarawagi obtained their CA (Chartered Accountant) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they studied accounting, finance, auditing, taxation, and corporate laws from 2002 to 2006. Amit then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute in Ahmedabad from 2005 to 2006.

In 2006, Amit attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for a Strategic Business Communication Program, completing the program in 2007. Amit furthered their education by obtaining an MBA in General Management from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK, from 2007 to 2009.

Amit has also obtained several additional certifications. In August 2020, they received the ICQ Global Licensee, Practitioner, and Growth Mindset Certification from ICQ Global. In July 2020, they completed the Faculty Development Program (FDP) for New Tomorrow at the National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand. Amit also received the Top 50 Global Key Influencer Award and Certification from eYs Magazine in July 2020.

Additionally, Amit holds various certifications, including the Business Excellence Certificate - The Bizz Award from WORLD CONFEDERATION OF BUSINESSES - WORLDCOB in May 2020, the Financial Inclusion, Financial Literacy, and Financial Education in Asia certification from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in May 2020, and the Independent Director Qualification from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs in May 2020.

Recently, in June 2021, Amit has been awarded the Verified International Academic Qualifications certification by World Education Services.
