Clare Cruickshank

Clare Cruickshank has extensive work experience in tax management and accounting. Clare currently holds the position of Tax Director at Global Cloud Xchange since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Tax Director at The Rank Group plc from 2008 to 2021, where they were responsible for tax strategy, international expansion, and compliance. Earlier in their career, Clare held roles as a Group Tax Manager at The Rank Group and as a Tax Manager at HCA International and Rank Group. Clare began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Tax Manager, providing tax advice to various sectors. Clare also gained experience as a Chartered Accountant at Hartley Fowler LLP, where they worked on accounts preparation, audit, and tax matters.

Clare Cruickshank has an educational background focused on economics and financial expertise. Clare completed their BA (Hons) degree in Economics from Lancaster University, spanning from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they pursued professional qualifications and obtained the FCA degree from ICAEW in 2001. In the subsequent year, Clare expanded their knowledge in taxation by completing the CTA degree from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in 2002.
