Shawn Henry has extensive experience in the cybersecurity field. Shawn began their career in 1987 as an Executive Assistant Director at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). In this role, they headed global divisions including the Criminal Division, Cyber Division, International Operations Division, and Critical Incident Response Group. In 2011, they joined CrowdStrike as their Chief Security Officer and President of the Services Division. In 2015, they joined the Global Cyber Alliance as a Director on their Board of Directors and began working as a Cybersecurity/National Security Analyst, Contributor, and Consultant for NBC News. In 2016, they became a Faculty Member for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and in 2020 they joined DoControl as an Advisory Board Member. In 2021, they joined ShoulderUp Technology Acquisition Corp as a Director on their Board of Directors.

Shawn Henry obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Hofstra University, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Shawn then went on to obtain a Masters of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, where they studied Justice Administration. Lastly, they attended the Naval Postgraduate School to pursue a field of study in Homeland Security and Intelligence.
