Dr. la Tanya McCloud Washington

Dr. La Tanya McCloud Washington serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Global Education Services, a position held since June 2010, where responsibilities include providing interactive tutorial services and educational consulting. As an Adjunct Professor since June 2000, Dr. Washington teaches a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and master's levels, encompassing elementary, middle grades, high school education, special education, and educational leadership. Previous roles include serving as the IDEA Ombudsman/Program Manager Outreach and Education Program Specialist for the Georgia Department of Education from August 2019 to November 2023, Special Education Coordinator at Troup County Schools, and multiple leadership roles within the Atlanta Public Schools and Clayton County Public Schools. Dr. Washington holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Trident University International, along with a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision and a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching.
