Emmet Poon has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Emmet has held various positions in different companies, including Global Fashion Group, where they currently serve as the Director of Global Sourcing for their own brand. Prior to this, they worked as a Supply Chain Consultant, developing sourcing strategies and optimizing the COO matrix. Emmet also served as the Director of Category Strategy at Gap Inc., where they focused on sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives. At PVH Corp., they held roles as the Head of Planning & Operations for Accessories CoE and Senior Production Manager for CK Asia & Americas. Emmet also worked as a Senior Manager of Product Development at Coach, where they played a key role in the significant growth of the men's product category. Earlier in their career, they held positions as the Director of Product Development at Jessnic & Co. Ltd. and a Sourcing Manager at Steelman Sourcing Ltd. Emmet started their career as a Product Development Manager at Urban Textures Ltd. Through their work experience, Emmet has gained expertise in sourcing, product development, supply chain operations, and category strategy.

Emmet Poon's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University, which was obtained between 1993 and 1997. Following this, Emmet pursued a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering at McGill University from 1997 to 1999. More recently, Emmet obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Six Sigma Institute, which was completed before 2021.
