Ludel Maiello Mier

Ludel Maiello Mier has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, they served as the President of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, where they introduced new programs and spearheaded projects for the organization. From 2010 to 2012, they also worked as a Student Representative in the Ateneo de Naga University Academic Council, drafting and recommending academic policies and programs.

In 2011, Ludel joined the University Social Involvement Council as a Student Representative, coordinating and giving direction to social involvement and outreach initiatives. They also served as the President of the Supreme Student Government at the Ateneo de Naga University from 2011 to 2012, advocating for student rights, improvement of facilities, and policy changes.

Moving into the professional arena, Ludel worked at EY from 2013 to 2020, starting as an Audit Associate and progressing to Assurance Manager/Director. They led engagement teams, managed audits for clients, and facilitated discussions on accounting and business matters. During their time at EY, Ludel gained expertise in delivering quality audits and evaluating internal control procedures.

In 2020, Ludel joined Trilogy as a Financial Controller, where they played a pivotal role in designing and implementing central finance operations. They streamlined financial processes, leading to more efficient operations and a significant reduction in the closing period. Ludel also handled financial reporting and consolidation for multiple SAAS companies and served as the primary point of contact for group audits.

In 2021, Ludel became the Chief Financial Officer at Kildekode, Inc., a Philippine software and game application company. Responsibilities in this role included overseeing financial operations and strategy for the organization.

Most recently, Ludel joined Global Finance Teams in 2023 as the Executive Vice President of Operations. Here, they support the onboarding process of Filipino accounting talents to US-based companies, ensuring a seamless transition. Ludel is also involved in recruitment and selection, consistently finding the best candidates for clients.

Throughout their career, Ludel has shown a strong dedication to their craft, continuously seeking improvement and making significant contributions to the organizations they have been a part of.

Ludel Maiello Mier completed their high school education at Ateneo de Naga University from 2004 to 2008, earning a High School Diploma in General Studies. Ludel Maiello then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the same university from 2008 to 2012, specializing in Accountancy and Finance.

In terms of certifications, Ludel Maiello Mier obtained the Certified International Bookkeeper certification from the National Institute of Accounting Technician in March 2012. Ludel Maiello also obtained the Certified Professional Proficiency in English certification from the Test of English for International Communication, ETS Preferred Associate, and Hopkins International Partners in April 2012. Additionally, Ludel Maiello Mier received the Lay Rescuer and First Aider certification from the Philippine National Red Cross in December 2011.

Furthermore, Ludel Maiello Mier earned the Certified Public Accountant credential from the Philippine Professional Regulations Commission in June 2013.
