Irena Ehrlich

Irena Ehrlich is an experienced professional in grants management, communications, and advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Grants Management at Global Fund for Women since March 2021, Irena oversees the Grants Management team, operationalizes participatory grantmaking initiatives, and improves grantmaking processes in alignment with strategic priorities. Previously, Irena held roles including Grants Operations Officer at Global Fund for Women, where responsibilities included managing grantmaking for economic and climate justice, and Communications and Fundraising Manager at Anjali House, focusing on mission strategy and donor cultivation. Additional experience includes advocacy and communications roles at Global Health Strategies and the National Immigrant Justice Center, as well as community engagement work at HIAS. Irena holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Chicago.
