Ruth Achillah

Ruth Achillah has a strong and diverse work experience in various sectors. Ruth began their career at Standard Chartered Bank, where they achieved four promotions in just over two years. Ruth'srole as Priority, Business, & International Client Relationship Manager was marked by exceeding campaign targets and increasing customer engagement.

After their time at the bank, Ruth joined Try Medics as a Program Manager. In this role, they established the Ugandan office and developed curriculum to enhance learning experiences for practitioners and interns.

Ruth'smost recent and current position is with Global Health Corps (GHC). Starting as the Uganda Program Manager, they played a pivotal role in mobilizing emerging leaders and building a community focused on health equity. Ruth's success in this position led to their promotion to Uganda Country Manager and then to the prestigious role of Director of Fellowships. In their current position, they utilize research and continuous learning to reimagine and implement strategic learning opportunities for GHC fellows around the world.

Throughout their career, Ruth Achillah has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the healthcare industry.

Ruth Achillah obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law (Hons) from Uganda Christian University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Bologna Business School, specializing in Global MBA in Green Energy and Sustainable Businesses from 2015 to 2017.
