Leslye Womack

Director Of People & Culture at Global Health Corps

Leslye Womack has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at One Acre Fund, where they served as the Director of Global Human Resources, overseeing a team of 12 and advising and supporting 65 HR staff across 9 countries. In this role, they led HR improvements at scale, provided business advisory to senior leaders, and led initiatives to attract, retain, engage, and develop staff. Additionally, they served as the People Innovations Senior Manager, leading systems improvements and data analytics initiatives to make global HR and recruitment processes more efficient. Prior to their time at One Acre Fund, Leslye worked at the Program for Advanced Research on Conflict and Collaboration (PARCC), Syracuse University, where they co-led trainings on conflict management and analyzed and synthesized strategic plans for a book chapter. Leslye also has experience with the Peace Corps, serving as an English Education Specialist and Teacher Trainer. Leslye holds a graduate assistantship at Texas A&M University Student Learning Center as a Supplemental Instructor.

Leslye Womack holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Syracuse University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies and Spanish from 2008 to 2012. Leslye's education background also includes obtaining a certification as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in February 2023.
