Human Rights Information Officer at Global Human Rights Defence

Maria Benadeta Puspitasari is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in human rights and social advocacy. Currently serving as a Human Rights Information Officer at Global Human Rights Defence, Maria coordinates the Asian team for the New Generation Uniting Nations project and organizes campaigns for new initiatives. In addition, Maria is a Student Ambassador at Erasmus School of Philosophy, where responsibilities include informing prospective students. Maria has also held roles such as a Human Rights Researcher at Broken Chalk, an SDG-Challenge Consultant at Corendon, and a Project Intern at SHAPE charity, focusing on child poverty and gender inequality. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Advanced International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Erasmus University Rotterdam, among other educational pursuits.
