Margaret Irving

Margaret Irving is a Senior Economist at the Global Partnership for Education since August 2015. Previous experience includes serving as a Lecturer at Stanford University for courses related to international education and research methods, as well as a Teaching Assistant in various economics-focused courses. Margaret also held a lecturing position at the University of Cape Town's School of Economics, delivering lectures to large undergraduate classes and contributing to curriculum design. Prior to an academic career, Margaret worked as an Analyst at UBS in the Financial Institutions Group. Margaret holds a PhD in Education from Stanford University, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and multiple degrees in Economics and related fields from the University of Cape Town.
