Eddie Pecker

Eddie Pecker is currently the Group CTO at Global Savings Group. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology and Product Officer at reed.co.uk from January 2020 to September 2021.

Reed.co.uk is part of the Reed Group and aims to connect people to a world of career opportunities online, supporting up to 10M unique monthly visitors. As the head of the Product, Design, and Engineering function, Eddie led a team of both permanent employees and offshore partners distributed across multiple locations.

Under Eddie's leadership, the engineering organization was restructured to drive ownership and accountability within the agile teams, consolidating offshore partners and delivering significant financial efficiencies along the way. In addition, they shaped and rolled out the Product and Tech Strategy to deliver a significant business and customer value, minimize investment in the legacy estate, and move to the Microservices Architecture.

Eddie also led the evaluation, implementation, and roll-out of the new Customer Engagement Platform (Braze), enabling effective and compliant communication with customers and users. Eddie delivered brand new native mobile apps, driving user satisfaction and uplift in conversion. Lastly, they redesigned and improved interviewing practices, hiring great Heads of Product, Design, Data and Engineering, Data Scientists, and Software Development Managers, raising the bar across the business and driving diversity and inclusion.

Eddie Pecker studied computer sciences and accounting at Tel Aviv University for their undergraduate degree. Eddie then went on to complete their masters in computer sciences at the same school.
