NASA Senior Earth Science Communications Specialist at Global Science & Technology, Inc

Brian Campbell has extensive work experience in the field of earth science education and outreach. Brian began their career as an Earth Science/Physics Instructor at Dorchester County Public Schools from August 1997 to April 2001. Brian then joined NASA as an Earth Science Education Specialist at SAIC from April 2001 to January 2012. During their time at NASA, they held various roles such as the NASA Senior Earth Science Outreach and Education Manager and the Lead for the NASA GLOBE ENSO Student Research Campaign. In February 2012, they joined Sigma Space Corporation as a Senior NASA Earth Science Education Specialist until November 2014. Brian then worked at Global Science & Technology, Inc as a NASA Senior Earth Science Communications Specialist starting in December 2014. In 2018, they joined The GLOBE Program as the Lead for the NASA Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign. Brian is currently serving as the NASA Trees Science Lead for the NASA GLOBE Observer.

Brian Campbell attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a field of study in History and Philosophy of Science. Subsequently, from 1996 to 1997, they continued their education at the University of Pittsburgh by enrolling in the Graduate School of Education. No degree name was specified for either period of their education.
