Aoife O'Keeffe

Aoife O'Keeffe is a regulatory and scientific affairs coordinator at the Global Self-Care Federation since June 2024, with prior experience as a freelance researcher where Aoife served as lead author on a published journal article focusing on a behavioral intervention for young adults with perinatally acquired HIV. Aoife's background includes a role as a health and social prescribing coordinator at Age UK Kensington & Chelsea, where comprehensive assessments of over 150 patients were conducted, and as a fundraising officer for the Coalition for Global Health Innovation. Additionally, Aoife contributed to the Covid-19 pandemic response as a clinical contact tracer with the Health Service Executive. Academic credentials include an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BSc in Public Health Sciences from University College Cork, where Aoife held several leadership positions in student organizations.
