Ramin Heydarlaki

Ramin Heydarlaki is a data scientist currently working at GSTS - Global Spatial Technology Solutions since October 2022, where Ramin leads the development and implementation of advanced algorithms for data extraction and real-time decision-making in space and defense operations. Prior experience includes roles as a private contractor at Corvus Energy and a contract Python developer at Seaspan ULC, where Ramin utilized Python and SQL to enhance ship CAD database efficiency, saving nearly $5 million. An internship at Siemens involved data warehousing and developing algorithms for image registration and convolutional neural networks to analyze flame structures. Ramin's research engineering tenure at UBC & Etalim Inc. focused on data collection and analysis using Python and MATLAB. Ramin holds a Master's Degree in Applied Sciences from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
