Jean Pierre Hakizimana

Jean Pierre Hakizimana is a multifaceted professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in various sectors. As the Founder and CEO of IMENA RU-FARM TECH since December 2019, Jean Pierre has developed an online platform to connect rural smallholder farmers with urban consumers while providing basic ICT skills to promote agriculture, especially among women and youth. In addition, Jean Pierre is a rapper and songwriter with BoosterFan, serves as a Career Accelerator for the Global Startup Ecosystem, and has been a Field Officer for Rwanda Green Initiative focusing on climate change and women's empowerment through agriculture. Jean Pierre is also a Country Representative for the Glocal International Teen Conference and co-founded Rise Up Students For Better Community Association, which supports university students in job creation through agricultural initiatives. Jean Pierre co-founded Eden Earth Ltd and previously worked as Country Manager for L'Afrique C'est Chic World. Educationally, Jean Pierre holds bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Governance and Leadership from the University of Rwanda.
