Mark Howie

Mark Howie has worked in the technology industry since 1998. Mark began their career at ION Geophysical as a Sr Software Engineer and Offshore Field Engineer, where they were responsible for the day-to-day operation of market-leading navigation software for seismic marine surveys and the delivery of regular reports on data quality. In addition, they were a Technical Project Manager, leveraging insights from a uniquely broad understanding of the industry and its technology when designing new propositions and guiding their team towards their stated goal. In 2019, they joined Global Surface Intelligence as Chief Engineer.

Mark Howie obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Mathematics from the University of St Andrews between 1990 and 1994. Mark then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Remote Sensing and Image Processing from The University of Edinburgh in 1996.
