Oliver Schiebel

Oliver joined Global Switch in 2019 as Managing Director, Frankfurt bringing with him around 15 years’ experience in the data centre and telecommunications sectors.

Prior to joining Global Switch Oliver was Sales Manager covering Germany for a leading European data centre provider. In this role he lead the sales team retaining key customers and growing the business. Before this he was Sales Manager at Arkadin Global Conferencing (an NTT communications company), Global Account Manager at Deutsche Telekom and Account Manager at T-Systems. Throughout his career he has focused on business development, and has gained excellent commercial acumen skills as well as a broad in-depth technical knowledge.

In his role as Managing Director, Frankfurt Oliver is responsible for managing our Frankfurt Campus, overseeing business development and maintaining a best in class operational environment. He is currently overseeing the development of Frankfurt North, which will provide an additional 11,000 sq m of world class space and 14MVA of utility power supply capacity, and is due to launch in 2019.
