Saptarsi Mookerjee has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Saptarsi started their career at HSBC as a Staff Officer from 1990 to 1996. Saptarsi then moved on to work at J D Marketing Inc. as a General Manager from 1997 to 2006. After that, they joined 1 to 1 Tutor, LLC as the Vice President of Operations, where they successfully managed multiple teams and led a content research and development team. In 2012, Saptarsi joined Waltech Inc as a Client Partner & Operation Head, where they provided IT consulting services. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Scalable Systems as a Client Partner & Operation Head, focusing on data, analytics, and digital transformation. Currently, Saptarsi is serving as the Chief Delivery and Operation Officer at Global Touchpoints Inc, where they lead a team in delivering quality services and solutions to clients.

Saptarsi Mookerjee completed their secondary education at St. Xavier's Collegiate School from 1971 to 1982, where they studied subjects such as English and Physics. Saptarsi then pursued Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accountancy from the University of Calcutta from 1984 to 1987. Following that, they attended the Institute of Cost Accountants of India from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Diploma in Cost & Management Accountancy.
