James Gooden

James Gooden has extensive work experience in account management and intellectual property (IP) analysis. James is currently the Head of Account Management at GlobalData Plc since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Account Manager at GlobalData Energy from November 2020 to February 2022. Before that, they held the role of Senior Account Manager at Cipher from December 2018 to November 2020, where they focused on IP analysis and leveraging data science technologies. In their previous role as an Account Director at PatSnap from January 2016 to November 2018, James assisted clients in maximizing the return from their IP portfolios and utilizing IP intelligence strategically. James also worked as a Senior Account Manager at GlobalData from January 2015 to January 2016 and as an Account Manager from August 2013 to December 2014, where they provided industry insights in the energy sector. James started their career in 2012 as an FX Consultant at Worldwide Currencies.

James Gooden attended Caterham School from 1997 to 2007. James then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of East Anglia from 2007 to 2010.
