Ted Letavic

Ted Letavic has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies. Ted started their career at Philips Research USA in 1990 as a Senior Member Research Staff. Ted then joined Philips Research in 1996 as a Principal Member Research Staff. In 2004, they transitioned to Philips Semiconductor as a Principal Engineer. In 2006, they moved to NXP as a Senior Principal. Ted joined IBM in 2010 as a Senior Technical Staff Member and later became a Distinguished Engineer, Technical Executive in 2012. In 2015, they transitioned to GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Director and eventually became a Senior Fellow in 2016. Ted held various roles at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, including Vice President, CTO and VP of Compute and Wireless Infrastructure, and Corporate Fellow, Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation.

Ted Letavic obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1984 to 1990.
