Varun Desai

Varun Desai has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Varun started their career as an Engineering Co-op and Stamping Engineering Intern at TE Connectivity in 2017. From there, they moved on to Permatech, Inc as a Mechanical Engineer in 2018. In 2019, they joined Vesuvius USA as a Field Process Engineer and later became a Market Manager. Currently, they hold the role of Lead, Customer Business Management at GlobalFoundries since 2023.

Varun Desai completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems/Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT College of Engineering, Pune University in 2015. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in September 2022 and PLC Programming from Scratch from Udemy in 2017.
