Alexander Voronov

Alexander Voronov has a diverse work experience in the field of data management and analysis. Alexander currently holds the position of Senior Product Manager (Data Platform) at Globalization Partners, where they started in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Groupon as a Senior Product Manager (Data Platform) from October 2021 to August 2022, and as a Product Manager / Product Owner from October 2018 to September 2021.

Earlier in their career, Alexander worked at Luxoft as a Senior Business Analyst / Team lead from August 2017 to September 2018, where they led a team of 5 people on the Credit Suisse project. Alexander was responsible for gathering and reviewing business requirements, analyzing impact of change, coordinating with IT partners, tracking and facilitating issue resolutions, and providing support throughout the software lifecycle.

Before Luxoft, Alexander was the Head of BI/CRM department at Hubert Burda Media from December 2014 to January 2017. Alexander also worked as a Project Manager (BI/DWH) at GlowByte Consulting from August 2013 to December 2014, and as a Senior Analyst at UniCredit Bank from December 2012 to August 2013, where they were involved in DWH implementation for risk department and Basel II analytical IT applications development and maintenance.

Alexander started their career as a Professional Services Consultant at Teradata from August 2011 to December 2012, where they gathered and documented client requirements, designed and developed processes for data validation and conditioning, and worked on project scoping and risk analysis. Alexander also worked as a Business Application (BI/ETL) Consultant at CROC from May 2010 to August 2011, where they analyzed business processes, formalized requirements, and designed, developed, and tested data extraction processes.

Throughout their career, Alexander Voronov has demonstrated expertise in product management, business analysis, data management, and project management, working on various projects for international companies and financial institutions.

Alexander Voronov began their education in 2004 at Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) where they pursued a specialist degree in Information Technology. Alexander completed this program in 2010. During the same period from 2006 to 2010, they also earned a specialist degree in Economics from the same institution. Following their undergraduate studies, Alexander continued their education at Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) as a postgraduate student in Economics from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Alexander Voronov has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they completed a course called "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" and received a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates. In 2019, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) after completing the respective training provided by Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in October 2021, they acquired the "Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" certification through the Coursera | Google program.
