Jorge Sánchez Torres

Jorge Sánchez Torres has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and technical consulting.

Jorge is currently working as a Sr. Data Engineer at Globalization Partners since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Lead at Cognizant from March 2021 to September 2021.

From November 2019 to March 2021, Jorge worked as a Data Developer at AgileThought. Before that, they held the position of MicroStrategy Developer at Mighty Wizards Technologies from October 2018 to November 2019.

Between March 2018 and July 2018, they worked as a Project Consultant at IntraMart. Prior to that, they were employed as a Consultor BI at Faktos from August 2013 to February 2018.

Jorge also gained experience as an Analyst and System Designer at Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, where they worked until July 2013.

Their career began as a Network Administrator at Instituto la Águilas, where they worked from October 2011 to May 2012. Overall, Jorge has a solid background in data engineering, technical leadership, and system design.

Jorge Sánchez Torres completed their education from 2006 to 2010 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they obtained a Licentiate degree in Informatics. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including the Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in February 2021 and the PowerCenter Data Integration 10: Specialist from Informatica in November 2017. Before that, they also obtained the PowerCenter Data Integration 9: Specialist certification from Informatica in May 2016.
