Olivier van Nieuwenhuyze

Olivier Van Nieuwenhuyze has extensive experience in security, standardization, and project management within the technology sector, primarily at STMicroelectronics since 1999, where roles have spanned from Senior Security System Architect to Security Lobbying & Standardization Senior Manager. Key responsibilities include overseeing the architecture and integration of NFC products and engaging in certification processes for smart cards. Additionally, Olivier serves on the Executive Committee of GlobalPlatform® and chairs multiple security-related working groups, representing STM in various international standardization bodies, including CEN and ISO. Earlier experience includes a role at Proton World International focused on certification engineering and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Haute Ecole 'Léonard de Vinci'.
