Jay Platt

Jay Platt is an experienced hardware engineering professional with a robust background in designing advanced electronic systems across various industries. Currently serving as Hardware Engineering Manager and previously as Sr. Hardware Design Engineer at Globalstar since January 2015, Jay specializes in high-speed multiprocessor hardware and digital system architecture for satellite communication. Prior roles include Staff Electrical Design Engineer at ION Geophysical, where power systems for undersea seismic cables were developed, and multiple positions focused on FPGA design and power electronics at companies such as FLIR Systems, Datamax-Oneil Corp, and Invivo Corporation. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University, earned in 1992.
