Martín Umaran

Co-Founder & Chairman, EMEA at Globant

Together with his three partners, Martín founded Globant as a startup in 2003 in Buenos Aires and has been responsible for driving Globant's growth, ensuring its global reach. Today, Globant (NYSE:GLOB) is a world leader in digital and cognitive transformation, with a presence in 18 countries and over 16,000 professionals.

Martín is a member of Globant's Board, where he leads the Mergers and Acquisitions area. Since 2020, he has served as Chairman for EMEA, contributing to and leading the region's growth.

Deeply involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem through Globant Ventures, he is an entrepreneur and mentor of the Endeavor network, where he is an active contributor. He is also an active participant in Business 20 (B20) and was Co-Chair of the 2018 and 2020 editions of the Education and Employment Taskforce.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de la Plata.
