Broadcast Systems Engineer at Globecast

Kofi Tandoh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kofi started their career as a Digital Marketing and Communications Executive at Cranial Creatives in 2011. Kofi then worked at The Multimedia Group (Ltd.) from 2012 to 2019, holding various roles such as Technical Services Engineer, Personnel Development and Skills Training Assistant, and OB Unit Supervisor. During this time, they gained experience in project management, personnel development, and broadcast systems engineering.

In 2018, Kofi joined SuperSport as a Guarantee Video and Audio Engineer, where they were responsible for outdoor/indoor sports coverage and broadcast. Kofi also operated as a Vision and Audio Supervisor on various outside broadcasts.

In 2019, Kofi worked as an IT Support at GNTV UK, providing network connectivity and troubleshooting support. Kofi then joined Ada. National College for Digital Skills in early 2020 as an External Relations and Alumni Network Development Executive, focusing on building an alumni network and developing communication and marketing strategies.

In 2020, Kofi moved to Channel 7 TV UK as a Network and Broadcast-Systems Engineer, where they designed and installed a TV studio and developed remote production solutions for the channel. Kofi then joined Encompass Digital Media, Inc. in 2021 as an OU/Live Events MCR Engineer, where they were involved in signal routing, monitoring, transcoding, and format conversion.

Currently, Kofi is working as a Broadcast Systems Engineer at Globecast, a position they have held since 2023.

Kofi Tandoh has a diverse education history. Kofi started their academic journey in 2001 at Mfantsipim School, where they completed their secondary education and studied General Science from 2001 to 2004. Following that, from 2005 to 2009, they attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication Engineering. Kofi then continued their education at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from 2012 to 2015. Most recently, from 2019 to 2020, Kofi attended Birkbeck, University of London, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Digital Media Management.
