Lijo Varghese

Lijo Varghese has a diverse work experience in the fields of engineering and media broadcasting. Lijo began their career as a Graduate Engineer trainee at HMT Limited in October 2009 and completed their training in June 2010.

Following that, Lijo joined Planetcast Media Services Limited (formerly Essel Shyam Communication Ltd) in July 2010 as an Assistant Manager for Teleport & Broadcast Media. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining and handling the company's teleport and RF communication network, as well as the broadcasting equipment. Lijo also participated in various projects involving system integration for broadcasting TV channels, including the erection and commissioning of antennas, VSAT, and fiber networks.

Most recently, Lijo joined Globecast in June 2022 as an MCR Engineer. The details of their responsibilities in this role are not provided.

Lijo Varghese completed their Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electronics & Communication from Scms School of Engineering and Technology, Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala from 2005 to 2009. Lijo then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University from 2012 to 2015, specializing in Business Administration and Management, Operations and Maintenance Management. Prior to that, Lijo completed their HSC in the Science group with Biology from Cardinal HSS Thrikkakara in Kerala from 2002 to 2004. Lijo completed their SSLC under the State Syllabus from St Josephs EMHSS in 2001 to 2002.
