Michael Vellecca has extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Michael started their career at Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in 1995, where they held roles in product management and relationship management. In 2005, they joined DTCC's subsidiary, Depository Trust & Clearing Corp - Deriv/SERV, as the Vice President of Global Head of Relationship Management and Implementation, responsible for building relationship management and sales teams. In 2008, they became the Vice President of Global Head of First Tier Sales & Marketing at DTCC, managing a global team and selling solutions related to the OTC derivatives market.
In 2010, Vellecca joined Broadridge Financial Solutions as the Vice President of Bank/Broker Dealer Client Relationship Sales, establishing and building relationships with financial services clients. In 2013, they worked as an Outside Sales Consultant at Berean Group, selling IT project and staff augmentation resources to financial services firms. Michael then joined GBST in 2015 as the Head of Account Management, where they defined and implemented a strategic plan to focus resources on sales campaigns and account management.
Most recently, Vellecca has been working at GlobeTax since 2016. Michael held various roles, including Director of Relationship Management, Director of Financial Institution Onboarding, and currently serves as the Managing Director of Financial Institution Sales and Onboarding.
Michael Vellecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Fordham University.
