Nick Housden

Nick Housden serves as the Cabinet Member for Public Health, Communities & Levelling Up at Gloucestershire County Council since May 2021, where oversight includes areas of public health and community engagement. Elected as County and District Councillor for the Stonehouse Ward in the same month, Nick also holds the position of Director of Business Operations at Bridge Youth Services Ltd and Director at Bridge Football Academy, focusing on bridging the gap between grassroots and academy football. Previous roles include Talent ID Manager and Lead Academy Coach for Cheltenham Town FC, Mentoring and Sports Programme Manager at Gloucestershire Mentoring and Support CIC, and various managerial positions in the leisure sector at Warner Leisure Hotels. Educational background includes studies at Hartpury University and Hartpury College, with GCSE qualifications from Severn Vale School.
