Serj Abdul-Jabbar

Serj Abdul-Jabbar has experience working in various roles in the field of motion design and graphic design. From 2020 to present, they worked at GLOW Social & Digital Agency, starting as a Junior Motion Designer and progressing to Senior Motion Designer. In these roles, they collaborated with strategy and account teams, conceptualized ideas, and developed presentations for pitches. They were also a founding member of the DEI council. Prior to that, from 2017 to present, Serj worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer/Animator, assisting businesses and organizations with their branding needs. They have also worked as a Lead Graphic Designer at the University of Michigan Spectrum Center, where they spearheaded new media advertising and collaborated with the marketing and communications departments. In 2016, Serj worked as an Office Assistant at the University of Michigan - Stamps School of Art & Design, and in 2018, they were an Artist Assistant for Carol Jacobsen.

Serj Abdul-Jabbar earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan from 2015 to 2019, majoring in Art and Design.
